Summary:
We are seeking a motivated entry-level Electrical Engineer to join our team. In this position, you will gain hands-on experience assisting senior engineers in designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components.
Responsibilities:
- Support the design of electrical components, systems, and products.
- Assist with developing, implementing, and testing electrical system and equipment.
- Draft schematics, layouts, and other technical documentation to support project needs.
- Conduct research on electrical components or systems for new or enhanced products and processes.
- Perform circuit analysis and simulations using appropriate electrical engineering software.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems or components during testing and implementation.
Qualifications:
- BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- Successful completion of the FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) exam strongly preferred.
- Basic proficiency in electrical design and simulation software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP ...).
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desired (Additional) Skills:
- Experience with power systems design and analysis.
- Interest in electrical design engineering on power delivery projects
- Knowledge of the NEC, IEEE, and IEC codes, standards, and laws that govern electrical power systems.
